A cozy stay with local flavor
Basilio 55 boasts an inviting atmosphere with a friendly staff eager to share local tips. The location was prime for easy explorations, from the Trevi Fountain to bustling restaurants. The complimentary smartphone for directions was a good touch that enhanced our adventures.
We did face some annoyances-our shower had limited water pressure, and breakfast offerings felt a bit sparse for the price.

The location was fantastic, just steps from the Trevi Fountain and Piazza Barberini, making it easy to explore the best of Rome on foot.
The room I stayed in felt outdated and lacked sufficient lighting, quite uncomfortable at times.

In my wife's opinion, the room could use brighter lighting.

Staying at Basilio 55. The rooms offered consistent cleaning and a cozy atmosphere. The location near Piazza Barberini was a major plus. The staff provided excellent communication regarding local attractions and dining, we didn't miss out on anything. The bed was super comfortable, and having Netflix available was a nice way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Some amenities were lacking. The breakfast, although convenient, was minimal for an extra charge, and finding nearby dining options on-site was limited. The air conditioning struggled a bit . Despite these few hiccups, the overall experience was satisfying and I'd consider returning for the location and service.

Great location and comfy beds!
The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Spanish Steps. I really liked the spacious bed that provided the comfort needed after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was also decent, with a good variety of options to start the day. The room could use some updates, as it had a damp smell despite daily cleaning.

The Superior Double Room was cozy and had a super comfy bed. It was compact, yet spacious enough for two. The location was ideal. Plus, the shower was great, and the room was clean upon arrival. The bathroom had a small step up, which requires a bit of caution. I'd say it was a chill spot to stay for our short trip.
